Ebike with a passenger

Hi,

I'm looking for a ebike that can take a rear passenger. It will be my daughter to school, but also useful for a trip to the pub with the better half. I have been oggling the Tern HSD but it is twice the price I'd like to spend. I do need a crank drive as I live on top of a steep hill and need the power and gearing to get home from work so something like the RAD range isn't really an option.

Appreciate any thoughts.
