Ebike throttle working backwards

Hi everyone. Really really hoping someone can help me, just bought a powabyke electric bike, the throttle on it broke and come apart so ordered a new one, the old throttle had 6 wires, 3 of them wires were for lights the bike had to show the battery level. The new throttle has 3 wires a red wire I believe is 5v a black wire I believe is the neutral and a white wire I believe is the signal. So wire the new throttle up and the throttle is running backwards meaning when I open the throttle up to go the bike stops and when I let off the throttle to stop the bike the bike then goes full power. I’ve tried wiring it up in loads off different ways and still no joy. I then thought the throttle was put together wrong from the factory so bought another one and still having the same problem so even bought a 3rd which is a different make from a different company and still it’s the same. Please can anyone help and I’m loosing my patience big time with this bike? Thank you very much

Model Identification

hi, hoping for a bit of help here. I am trying to order the throttle mechanism for a PowaByke. I do not know the model or the year. How do I find out which model it is please? Thanks in advance.
