Hi, I'm running a 3000w motor at 48v 13ah with a battery max discharge of 30a. I'm wanting to upgrade to a 72v 30ah with a continuous discharge of 50a.
Is it worth upgrading and will it make much of a difference? Thanks

All things considered, probably not.

One would gain a lot more wh/capacity, 3.5X as much & a bit more range even with the heavier battery. 48v/13ah one would feel is a bit underrated for a 3kw motor. With the extra discharge rate of the larger battery it will feel different power wise and range should be better, though does depend how you use it.

All depends on how deep your pockets are.
