The bike dates from 2017, and was sold by Halfords among other retailers. The mini USB socket on the handlebar display is for a dealer to connect PC based diagnostics software to fault find. If that's where you're plugging your USB Powerbank into to make the bike work it sounds to me as if the controller in the motor which normally provides 5v may have a fault.

Halfords sell a Raleigh bike that uses components from the same drive manufacturer (TranzX) so should still have the diagnostics system to identify the fault.

Thankyou, I have taken the bike into the halfords near me they had it for a week before saying they won't touch it due to the make of bike it is. Also I think it must be plugged into that, its a really old phone charger port

Your options are limited unless you can find a sympathetic dealer supporting TranzX drive systems. Very few are left since Ebco changed to other brands. Even so, as the controller board isn't AFAIK available separately, you'd likely be faced with replacing the whole motor. That's costly on a bike that age.

I don't know what you paid for the bike, but in your shoes given that a replacement motor is £450 and a new battery £500 (given it's 5 years old now) I think I'd be inclined to use and enjoy the bike as it is for as long as it lasts. If you were closer. I have the diagnostics here, but that doesn't help you. Sorry.
