Beware this ebay seller biditnow19

my 7 month old battery died 3 weeks ago and refused to replace it

It will only charge tp 36.5 volts and I can only get 1 mile out of it before it drops to 34V and If I use the throttle it cuts out and I have to restart it!

So can anyone recommend a reputable retailer where I can get another one with at least 12month warranty?

Sadly the devil is in the detail of which there are scant few to see.
The price for a start shouts unbranded very cheap china cells, the <150ohms impedance rating also indicates pretty much sub standard cells used.

Sounds like the BMS or the balancing isn't working and it is way out of balance, the fact you still see a charge might be a plus but it needs opening and some measurements taken to see what the scale of the issue is. For a diy competent it might be a fairly easy fix and a new BMS if at fault is about £20.

I don't know if this will be of use to you, but at the bottom of this page is a button labelled "Contact us", which opens a chat window to an actual ebay rep. It's been useful to me in the past:

That battery was advertised as 500w, eg just under 14amps. If that is the max rating it may well be that you were running it beyond its design limit, especially if you use the throttle quite a bit.

Though I notice that later is says Max Continuous Discharge Current: 20A, Peak Discharge Current: 60A so it should be OK.

I didn't scan down the page far enough.
20a continuous discharge then it says 25a BMS if so then it is 25a continuous, the 60a peak doesn't sound right and seems far too much for the cells. The cells look like 8a with 3c rating a little hard to believe. Still it appears they weren't capable for the use they were intended for.

I've got about the same number of feedback as this Chinese seller and i have zero negatives or neutrals. He has in 12 months 6 negs and 13 neuts' on a 2 year old account.

Paypal and ebay partner when it comes to disputes, I've always managed to get a refund - that ebay rep chat window really does come in handy. If it looks unlikely, I open a Paypal and ebay case separately. But a refund has always been given, the longest it has ever taken to get my money back was 13 months.

Contact Ebay and open a case with them. The onus is on the seller to provide a product fit for use. Ebay favours the buyer and will intervene on your behalf to resolve the dispute..

As already mentioned YOSE Power seem a good Company . I have one of their Silver Fish 16Ah Batteries and am pleased with it . Their guarantee is longer than a year .
