Afternoon like the majority I took the plunge at the end of January after researching forums to death. The offer was a giant road e1 pro for £2800, second hand bikes seem to be around 2k so off I went online (Rutland cycles)and two days later it arrived. My other bike is a carbon affair that weighs the same as an empty crisp bag so when this arrived the weight was the first thing I noticed, however battery charged and away I went. All I can say is fun should have done it earlier.
Now the issues fogging display and a nightmare to get assistance from the supplier, simply would I buy another e-bike yes definitely a Giant not a chance.

I have a Yamaha lcd display on my Haibike hard tail mountain bike that I bought in 2015.

I had no issues with fogging until I needed to change the batteries. On my display you do this by taking it off the bike and removing a circular access plug on the underneath to gain access to the battery compartment.

The access plug simply screws back in after you have changed the batteries.

After I had done this I then got some fogging of the display when riding in wet conditions.

When I had a look by removing the battery compartment cover I noticed it had a thin rubber O ring to prevent water ingress and a tiny particle of grit had compromised it.

I left the display in my boiler cupboard with the battery cover removed to dry it out thoroughly and then replaced the cover making sure there was not contamination of the O ring.

This solved the fogging issue I had and it hasn't recurred.

Your display however is different to mine.
