Went to Eastbourne Airshow yesterday.

I saw a record number of ebikes, an Izip with a Curriedrive, two Battribikes, a Gazelle?, a Xipi with what looked like a huge battery on it, and a few others. They are definitely on the increase down south.

It was wonderful to scythe through the stationary traffic, then ride up onto the downs and have my Eagle by my side whilst I enjoyed an E-Picnic, including a few tinnies!

Did 41.4 miles in total, and still had two lights out of four left on the battery guage.

I have endeavoured to insert a photo in this post, (my first attempt), so bear with me if it does'nt appear. In one photo you can see the Lancaster framed by the astonishing alloy frame of the beast, quite remarkable.

Great to see the Vulcan flying, the noise of those Olympus engines was staggering, and I very nearly soiled myself, as I tend to get over excited on such occasions.

It worked!!!

Here's one of the Vulcan. Beachy Head itself was shaking, people were covering their ears, children were shreiking.

The other picture is on Pevensey Marsh en route.

Bloody marvellous. An Ebike is clearly the best way to visit such events, no hassles, no parking, no walking, just non-stop fun all day long!

Nice shots Eaglerider, great capture of the Vulcan.

Hearing that skinny engined beast makes one thankful for the invention of bypass jet engines!

Yes I think a Pedelec is the way to go to the big events, the car used to give us freedom but it does no longer, with all the hassle of traffic jams parking, and then getting stitched up to actually park the car. I went to Cowes IW , on Friday, and found the same as you, got it right down into the event without any hassle, I will be using my new bike a lot more, especially to go to these events.

Recently visited an Air Show where, regretfully, bikes were not admitted to the site; they had to be left at the perimeter fence.:(

Eaglerider good shots, and the same here i was also down south last year summer and you are spot on with your findings.
I had counted at least 4-5 E-bikes over that long weekend.

Excellent shot of the Vulcan,I went today, only saw one E-Bike, a crank drive.
No'Lanc' flying today, went 'mechanical', but a great day out.
