E3 gazelle battery Fault

HI i've posted this on another thread maybe in the wrong place so i'll try here
I ihave a E3. Battery verification error. The battery is not recognised as an original battery on a Gazelle the battery is panasonic silver 2years and 3 month,2300 miles old
When i try and charge battery off the bike the charger flashes red,
any help appreciated
(lights still work but no pedal assist)

Now i can add contacted Gazelle and guess what we have had your money we won't answer you,
when i bought the bike i expected better from what i considerd a good company

Sounds a bit like Bosch systems they don't recognise just any ol battery. Also the comms between charger and battery don't share the same protocols so are incompatible.

Some bikes use communication between the battery and the bike, and between the charger and the battery. These devices ask if each other are OK and ready before they cooperate. Only a dealer with the correct diagnosis equipment can check and/or remedy faults.

This communication is for safety reasons, but it locks the user out of making any changes and locks you in to dealer servicing and repairs. If you like to do your own repairs I recommend that you avoid such bikes and get an unlocked Chinese one.

Its the original battery thats been on the bike 2 Years

sounds like you need to contact/visit the seller or a Gazelle dealer as they are the only ones likely to be able to help you. It could be a software problem, but more than likely you are looking at a new battery.

Looks like I've misinterpreted your post, but still a comms issue which is locked and only Gazelle can rectify.
