Hi, the battery on my E Plus Commute has given up, only showing 2.2V across the terminals and not taking charge. I am looking to source a replacement battery and would like to contact the UK distributor for these bikes. Not Argos as they just retail them and were worse than useless when I contacted them. If anyone out there knows the name of the UK distributor I would be really grateful. Thanks (1st time post so hopefully I posted in the correct area)

I've seen that bike with both rear-rack mount batteries and frog-type seat-post mounted. Either type is available on ebay/Ali or often YosePower or PSWpower as the cheapest replacement options - some suppliers holding stock either in Europe or UK.

Very few importers of these sub-£1000 e-bikes appear to give a damn about support or service, so you're probably just better off sourcing your own. Plenty of threads on this forum discussing the same issue and where they got their replacement batteries from - use the search.

It isn't a proprietary component type ebike by the looks of it, seems more based on universal parts so you could likely buy a fairly standard 36V battery and use it, maybe a saddle bag battery as the current battery is in that location. It's all about adapting cables. You'd have to examine it to see if that is possible.
