Still struggling to get over the price of the cassette.

One question I'm yet to work out the answer to... is this meant top / middle / bottom tier? Is it XTR or XT or SLX... XX1 or X1 or GX?

No doubt SRAM will release a variety of eMTB specific drivetrain components; I'm just unsure where the EX1 will sit within the range.

think ebike and cash in is my guess as its the same price as the new sram eagle 12 speed ant thats top end and price to match.

i have 11spd so the ex1 will not work with my xd hub not that id buy 1 at that price anyway as nuts for a 8 spd cassette.

A little off topic, but we've recently done a bit of a chain test...SRAM PC10e(??) (paid £25) vs KMC X10e (£30) vs KMC X10-93 (£13), all on new RaceFace NW chainwheels and SLX cassettes...the two ebike specific chains lasted 250ish miles, whilst the £13 X10-93 is still within the 0.75% wear limit at 480 miles...new tech and big money doesn't necessarily mean better and we'll be running -93s on all ours in the future!

EP90 Hypoid oil here on my motorbikes and pushbikes...used it for 40+ years. A shear force oil for shear forces;) and only £10 for a Litre at Halfrauds
