Whilst waiting for my employer to sign up to Cyclescheme and looking to buy the Fiido D4S I have come across the E-movement Hunter bike (https://emovement.co.uk/product/fat-tyre-electric-bike-the-hunter/) which is a fat wheel ebike for about an extra £450 than the Fiido. Does anyone have any experience with a bike from E-movement and what are your views on the bike I mention please. Or am I better off sticking with the Fiido D4S?

The emovement appears to be technically not a pedalec as it has a 350w (nominal) motor. Only slightly illegal, but .... That is up to you; and maybe the Cyclescheme wouldn't cover it, though I doubt they'd notice.

Certainly not a bike for me, but that doesn't make it wrong for you. Given the tyres and the battery capacity the 50 mile range will be with LOTS of help from you.

It does look a bit of a beast, probably the kind of bike that stands out to police. Probably a bit of a struggle to cycle if you run out of charge.
