Hi, wondered what to do as the planetary gears on my E-Mission trike are worn (made of Nylon...!), and i can't source a replacement part anywhere! I have tried Bafang 36T gears on but they don't quite fit. I have tried E-Bikes Direct Sales, but they couldn't get the part either (that is 3 x 36T planetary gears for the E-Mission).
The retailer only wants to sell me a new entire front wheel for £350, and some repair centre said i should rebuild the wheel with a new motor, Bafang or other good quality one. That seems like the only solution atm...Any thoughts much appreciated!!

You can use any motor you want. A 24" motor wheel would be about £150 to £250 from China depending on postage or you can buy a complete kit for £204 from Yose on Ebay:
