You need a buyer not afraid of the lack of warranty. Looked after, it will likely do well for many years, but mid-drive without warranty is a big price hit.

Discounters have this brand new today for £2250 and upwards, with full warranty.

I would be surprised if a buyer would pay more than half that for yours, and be prepared for rather less.

It's a nice bike, but it has the Giant Syncdrive electrical system that can only be serviced or fixed by a Giant dealer, so whoever buys it needs one not too far away.

Sorry to tell you this I just bought one from a national dealer auction outlet very cheap just 230 miles on it .

I going to break it and sell it as spares as struggling to get over 700 quid for any bike un less it’s new ish built in batteries ECT.

But I would think if you sell it for around 400 quid you may find a buyer .
Sorry if that’s bad news but there is some really good deals to be had if you look around.

This one sold for £560. After Ebay expenses, the seller probably got around £500 for it. You should sell your accessories separately because they hardly add to the price. Also, that Ebay one was reasonably well located. If you live anywhere out of the way, the price would be a lot lower unless you agree to send it, but then you have the danger of the buyer sending it back.

It just came when where over the pub lunch time.
Lovely bike no charger but I have one .
Hopefully it all works out I going down my wife’s route now .
I don’t want to sell it LOL
Couple of brake levers missing and I do not have a bleed kit yet.

I think the Giant Prime is going to have to go now !!! Instead.

The price of branded e bikes does seem to be going down quickly if some one wants to buy no warranty’s and a bit of work hunting for missing bits.

But going back to your post I think 500 odd was a good result at the moment .

Ebay is a funny old place though, and prices do vary.
This one here sold for £1650, though it only has 50 miles on the clock(As opposed to the other one which has 2225miles on it), which probably accounts for the higher sale price.
Probably put it in for £950 or something and see how it gets on. Can but try.
Makes sure though its washed and even polished, wash the tyres, make it look as good as you can

At least its not a hub drive. Those can go for as little as 80 quid. ;)

A few weeks ago, I saw an old beaten up front hub motored step through Halfords ebike on ebay with it's chain hanging off and flat tyres for £25, no battery - I almost bought it for the motor, but got distracted by a squirrel.

There was also an small folding ebike with a weirdly square shaped in-frame dead battery for £50. Looked up the battery, reckoned it was overpriced for 6Ah Chinese celled. Again I was interested in just the hub motor, and you guessed it another squirrel at the window drove all thoughts of hub conversions from my mind. Or it might have been the same squirrel.

Both bikes looked like they'd been left out in the rain for months.

Gumtree is crawling with faulty or otherwise cheap ebikes. Unlike ebay, Gumtree states the age of the listing - the older the listing, the easier the downward haggling.
