Hello I’m really struggling to find a charger for this bike. Bought it off a chap from fb with no charger, he said they’re pretty easy to come by but I’m at a dead end

Before spending all that money, you'd need to check the condition of the battery and whether you can get a replacement. By the time you've spent all that money, you could have got a fairly decent new bike off Amazon that's probably better than yours.

The Storck Raddar Multitask was voted electric bike of the year when it was released round about 2011. It came third in our forum vote. I'm not sure why because it was pretty useless at 24v with a direct drive motor and no suspension, and spares and maintenance were always going to be a problem. Its best feature was the throttle that works as a power control when you're pedalling, like a sort of cruise control. All ebikes should be like that instead of having to press stupid buttons.

If you're any good at electrical stuff and you like working on projects, the best thing for it is to rip the controller out, use an external one, then you can use any battery, but IIRC, the motor splits down the middle, so you have to unbuild and rebuild the wheel. Plus, by the time you've bought all that stuff, you might as well buy a kit and fit it to a catalogue bike, which would be a lot less work.

This is what happens to all "Bikes of the year", so keep well clear of them. I'd love to know who votes for them and why. It's certainly not done from a customer's point of view. I voted for the Cyclamatic Power Plus IIRC, which came joint 4th.
