True, that's probably because the ability to delete a thread gives the power to delete any other's posts made in it. And of course that would never do.

I think you can only do it whilst there are no replies, after that as Flecc has said it won't do being able to delete someone else's thought's.

Yes that is right. I contacted admin regarding a thread that i wanted deleted. Answer was no.

To clarify, this was another thread and my response was that "standard policy is to not delete entire threads, particularly when others have taken the trouble to respond". I've only just seen your report on this thread MH and so others have responded here as well since then.. It will soon drop down so long as there are no other responses.
