Drab Bosch engine covers

I have noticed that some Bosch bikes (like SW's for example) have nice shiny engine covers whereas mine are just a drab dull black and never look clean.. are there after market covers available...

you can get replacement covers like mine but it probable wont fit as the bike makers make there own designed to match the frames so you could either use some vinyl wrap or hydro printing is another option like i done to my bottom cover.

it looks easy but its not so best to get a pro to do the hole cover prob about 50 quid

I havnt considered that different bikes might need a different cover.. what about the plastic shiny stuff you can get for faded car bumpers?
Don't want to pay for a custom paint job .. just make it look better.

hydro printing is not paint its more like a sticker that you use water to cover what you are dipping.

it wont hurt to ring round and get some prices

I'd sooner go with the first option that I gave you, but if you want to restore/enhance the colour, then the following will work, but isn't a cheap option.

Wherever I have tried diy spraying or sticking things it has always ended up looking worse that before it was done and as such procrdures are usually permanent it will have to leave it as it is.
I had hoped it might be a simple buy a shiny one off ebay and swap it over..
Not to worry.. another idea bites the dust.

try some of this as it is what i use on the hole bike after cleaning and makes all the black nice and shiny.
