Hi i am installing my first Heinzmann kit on my bike (Viking Targa) at the moment 200w front hub uk legal kit 36v 15mph :D , as my Daughter has taken over my wisper 905e  , am thinking of putting a 500w high speed kit for offroad use on the back wheel 35mph using two Batteries and two throttles l/h and r/h to control the Different setups that way the bike should still be uk legal, as long as i can keep the Weight down, i cant see any big problems in setting this up as the systems will be seperate from each other but could work in combination, i am new to electric bikes any advise or comments wecome.

That shouldn't have any technical problems, though I personally wouldn't have used Heinzmanns because of their weight, amongst the heaviest these days, due to the old design. Quality's good though.

It certainly won't be road legal if you're running with both batteries in, the defence of not using the high powered one wouldn't stand up, the bike musn't be capable of breaking the law, whether used that way or not.

Even running with the high power motor battery out might not protect you.
