I call my bike 'Delilah'. Named after Steptoe's horse. Which was initially named 'Hercules', until they found out that it was pregnant, later having a foal named 'Samson'. I've named it that because it's hidden strengths perform better than it actually looks. Not because it's pregnant, or a carthorse. :D

What do you call yours and why? :)

I call mine 'The pavement pounder' It goes where my motorbikes cannot like down the paved high street & of course pavements, i rather like riding the big wide pavements swooping up & down the dropped kerbs then onto a bit of grass, over the zebra crossing through the lights across the rough ground down the grassy bank straight into Lidl's car park by the front doors, can't do that on my M/bikes. And of course no parking fees whatsoever.

I haven't named mine. But I don't think I've ever got around to naming any object like some do. However I have referred to my weight loss, weight lifting and now ebiking as my 'on going midlife crisis'

Not yet.... have to have a good think.

My son had his first ride on his new ebike today and gave us alter egos, Goose and Maverick! Think he was quite impressed which is a huge compliment from a lad whose pride and joy is a Kawasaki Versys 650. He had that big grin on his face anyway.

"Number Two" of course! Yes there is a hidden meaning: "I am not a number!"... There was no bike called Number One! :D

Its not unusual Pingy?
Roisiean F.W .Evans ,my first ever proper bike, coz it was a beautiful emerald green colour.
Boonshanker my first recumbent trike, you feel every pothole, hence bone shaker!
Lucifer, coz it had a wonky bottom bkt ,fixed it by putting a expensive sealed unit in. I had a 70" fixed gear, not much fun in hilly country.
Lazerlilu, coz I'd been playing scrabble!
Swampthing ,my off roading bike self-explanatory that one.
White charger, my first ever Pedelec,
The second Pedelec, Brown Boris, a Kalkhoff wossiname, the one with the impulse motor, not the impulse 2.
I have had other bikes, which have passed on,to a better place, I now have quorum of 4 , one can have too many bikes.

I think mine has to be Mabel. She is a lovely girly ebike and I live in the usually sleepy seaside town of Mablethorpe and ride up and down the coastal bike trail every day, sometimes a bit further afield. It's only a ten mile round trip but that's 70 a week. Mabel it is then :)
