Does the Powabyke X bike have a lockable battery ?

Hi. Ive owned a Powabyke Euro 24 electric bike which I loved. I used to go into town lock it up with the battery on have a couple of beers then cycle home.

I'm interested in the new X bike but can you lock the battery to the bike or are you expected to carry it around in your pocket where ever you go ! or even worse leave it on the bike to get knicked !

I would appreciate any replies

I made a battery lock, just a flat steel bar bent into a U shape, and a long shackled padlock. I seem to recall that powabyke did release a lock later on- try emailing them- sales@powabyke.co.uk
