Does anyone own a teardrop caravan/trailer ?

Hi...till a year ago I owned a campervan, but for various reasons, not least shortage of cash, I sold it.
....now I'm considering buying a teardrop caravan or similar.

We only have a small car...Hyundai i20, actually it's my wife's car, I have the use of it some 6 times a year.
The last car I had, an XTrail, I had it 18 months and did less than 5000 miles, I only used it to tow a caravan,
so I've no wish to buy and run another large car which I will barely use....never mind the cost involved.

Hence...a teardrop caravan...cheap to buy/run, tow with the i20, fit in my garage alongside the Hyundai.
...might even persuade my wife to accompany me on occasions.

So...anybody got one, had one, know anybody who's got one ? ...any comments ?
.....I live in West Yorkshire so not convenient for a dealers.

We find a tent quite useful - it's a pig to tow but when we remember to demolish it and roll it into a small bundle it behaves quite well - even fits in a bike or a canoe ... I'll get me 'at ...
