I’m a 3rd year Physiotherapy student at the University of Winchester conducting research for my dissertation. My research is “ Electric bike owners’ perceptions on how owning one affects levels of physical activity in the long term”. To participate you need to own a pedal assisted e-bike and are happy to answer some multiple choice questions that shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
The questionnaire is anonymous and if you have any questions about it then please contact me our my dissertation supervisors email @ e.docker.21@unimail.winchester.ac.uk / David.wilson@winchester.ac.uk.

It's impossible to complete because the first question is to confirm that you've read the participant sheet, but there's no link to anything like that, so we can't read it!

What does it mean by not being possible to withdraw from participation after you've submitted the questionnaire? Does it mean that the answers belong to you or that there are further activities that have to be completed?

Simple way to look at it is - you arent going to turn into an Adonis riding an ebike, more likely remain as a fat slob.
You need to do actual strenuous exercise to lose weight and build muscles, and an electrically powered bike isnt going to do it for you, unless you ride it with the motor switched off.

The plus side is it keeps the joints going on older people and gives them some fresh air and at least some gentle exercise.
