Seems like its not only in the UK where there are delays - I have just received this from the Swiss supplier:

Bonjour,

Broadly that the Raleigh leicester E I ordered will now not arrive until July - and then it will be the more expensive Leicester Deluxe (which includes upgrades such as hydraulic brakes) which he will share the extra cost of.

Does anyone know anything about these brakes or the superior spec of this version of the Agutta?

If it is the step through it may well be the same as the Tasman on the 50 cycles website. Of course there are now so many variable models coming out the Derby factory it is difficult to know what you are getting. It would seem you are getting a bargain though if the dealer is sharing the cost. Certainly the 8 speed might be worth it if only because there is a batch of 7 speed going through that seem to be faulty. I highly rate the hydraulic brakes, if only for the lack of maintenance required. That is about £75, which I would definitely pay for those upgrades alone.

Thanks Harry - that does look like it must be it - I have directed him to the site - he might notice that it is about 20% cheaper than his new price!
