frame adaptors can be made but getting the chain line in the right place for the motor can be a pita depending on what motor you use.

a bafang would fit my bike but it would mean changes to the frame that cant be undone

£2k for an anaemic 250W 48V motor and no storage, 15.5mph is always the killer, will the white wire trick work and what would range then be?

They do look pretty cool though but cannot see many hard core delivery guys buying them given the other options they have re power/range.

Range is an issue with any performance e-bike. Delivery riders will need at least two batteries for a full shift if it is derestricted.

I just watched a video of an upgraded Surron on a motor cross track getting creamed by 125cc and 250cc bikes. And his battery went flat after only 12 laps. It was suggested to him that he needed 3 batteries and they cost around 2 grand each.

I can see why people buy Eskutas - their rent to own package includes insurance and costs only £65 a month, which is cheap enough for anyone wanting inexpensive commuting. And there's a throttle hack. Which insurance won't cover.

Yeah, it needs the throttle hack as well as the white wire modification. I have never seen a delivery rider use their pedals except on the video I posted.

They aren’t out there to get exercise, they do it to earn a living.
