Cytronex Kit

I just noticed that Cytronex have begun advertising their long-awaited kit and I'm not sure what to make of it.

It seems like a very neat piece of work with a rather gimmicky phone app to run the system options but apart from the fact that they have finally moved over to lithium and provide what looks like a very portable charger,(if I read the blurb correctly), I'm not sure there are any really new developments worth mentioning.

What is worth mentioning is the price - £945 - which I find rather expensive for what I feel will remain a niche product in the world of EAPCs.

After such a long gestation, I had hoped for better from them so I'm rather disappointed by this kit.

Here's the link: http://www.cytronex.com/c1new/v2/

I saw it at the NEC show. AFAICS, the motor is an Aikema or clone, what we normally call the Q100 or Q85. If light weight is what you want, you could make your own kit with stuff from BMSBattery and a 20 cell 1kg 36v cell-pack from Insat, which would cost you about half as much, but you'd need DIY skills to install, wire it and make/mount a battery case.

Nice Kit but very expensive and I personally like a battery twice that size.

It's a pity no one in the UK sells a kit using the well rated and lightweight Q100 motor. I'm sure it would be very popular.
