My partner purchased a second hand Cytronex Cannondale about four months ago. On it's first outing it broke down and a call to the previous owner had it quickly fixed, by twiddling the reed switch in it's holder under the rear brake lever. Not ideal and it happened a few more times in conjuctions with the power light above the right hand brake lever turning from red to amber.
This morning the power button turned red but the power assist refused to work and it just rode like a normal bike!
I checked various connections and twiddled the reed switch but to no avail! The battery is reasonably new and was fully charged.
I wonder if anyone has any pointers to what I could check to try and isolate the issue.
I'm hoping we haven't bought a lemon!!
