Hi all,
I have a 250W 36V front motor wheel from Cyclotricity. I would like to add a battery > 7Ah but with an internalised controller. Hence, why I didn't complete the kit from them.

Having searched everywhere I really need the help of some more experienced heads.

I'm only looking for a simple fit of a reliable battery + PAS output + LCD display output but with the controller embedded.

I thought I'd found one but turns out it uses a 10 pin connector -Cyclotricity uses a 9 pin.

Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated, please?

Carl

Regarding the Cyclotricity wheel and the HT-1 battery, I'm assuming these will talk to each other ok? I just need it to work with no problems and within the UK legal limits.

Thank you

The wheel doesn't talk to anything, the 9 pin layout if std will simply connect wire colour to wire colour with the KT controller. The only comms are between the KT controller and KT LCD so one mus use a KT LCD for 100% operation.

Some crappier controllers aren't very clever so they are suppied with learn wires to learn the phase/hall sequence, the KT's I have used with a few hubs and they always work,
Cyclotricity use custom KT kits on the dual kits, I doubt one will have an issue with the 250w hub.
