Hey,

The replacements around 70 quid..

Bought off my mate - no charger. However i’m concerned whatever I buy won’t have the correct connector as my DIY ebike charger wiggles a bit when i try it in this one.

Understandably so - but was my friend and he had the battery keys and even proof of purchase so i’m not too worried

You need to post a clear photo of the charging port on the battery for anyone to advise on a suitable charger.

So you need a charger with a dc 5.5mm x 2.1mm or a 2.5mm charge jack, without shorting the charge socket try and measure the pin dia as it may be 2.1 or 2.5mm.
However it 's not all that important as one can buy a 2.1mm - 2.5mm adapter for a 2 or 3 quid.
5.5mm x 2.1 mm is pretty common so if yours is 2.5mm simply use an adapter in the link.
