Hi, I've got the cyclotricity revolver. I recently tightened the bottom bracket, and since the the pedal assist doesn't give me enough power. It gives me a Demond of power and stops. Then a second of power then stops. The sensor looks fine and no magnets are missing. The throttle works fine. Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this? Thank you

the PAS disc is held synchronized to the BB axle with a number of plastic fingers.
These fingers may lose their strength over time and cause the PAS disc to slip when you pedal. Check and make sure that the PAS disc does not slip or stuck when you pedal.

If your sensor has a little LED on it, when you pedal, the LED will blink regularly (at the speed of your pedalling), it's easy to check if it misfires. If your sensor does not have an LED then you may need to fit new PAS sensor just to find out if it's faulty or not.

The gap is too big. The magnet disc needs to be nearly touching the sensor. Slide it along the spindle. If it works its way bback, wind a bit of string round the spindle to make a sort of spacer or cut the end of an old handlebar grip to theright thickness. Don't overdo it so that it rubs.

I've tried your suggestions, still having the same problem. The disc does appear to be warped ever so slightly, could this be the problem?

You should be able to answer that yourself. If the loss of power coincides with the disc being farther from the sensor, that's almost certainly the cause. You can manipulate the disc to a degree, hopefully to get it flat again.
