Hi there first post i have just ordered a cyclotricity 1000w stealth only 12a battery left , so was thinking of buying a second battery and carrying in my rucksack whats the best battery that will give me most miles thanks.

Just a wee guess that battery 12 -15 miles max.

Do you think i would have been better with the 500w stealth with the 16a battery

What kind of riding/use ?
These kits are D/D hubs and ideal for flat faster riding.
They lack the versatility of a geared hub, buyers are influenced by the cheaper price.
To get the best out of these kits you need to spend about 3 times the cost of the kit to get a good powerful battery that can take the demands of the 25/30a continuous current they may require.

Its just to get me back and fourth to golf course 6/7 round trip . And some day out i wont be using it every day mabey 2/3 times a week in summer. I think the 500w would have been a better choice as not much chance to use the speed on the 1000w

Either way both motors are illegal.

Can anyone recommend where to get a more powerful battery for the Stealth? Whats the best avalable?
