Nearly got knocked off my bike today after a punishment pass by an inconsiderate BMW z4 . Do you guys use helmet cams? if so any good recommendations? I am not looking to buy expensive ones like GoPro, something around the £50 mark would do!

I also have a go pro /sj400 copy. I mount it upside down from the centre of my bars. Mine was about 35 from Amazon including two batteries. It is a full hd with Wi-Fi version

The fish eye / wide angle lens they all have means you don't really need it on your head

Personally I just don't want it there for safety reasons

thanks for the input! I might give the 21.99 one a go lol. Do you guys put any cam for the rear in case someone hit you from behind?

i dont have 1 for the rear but that smaller 1 would be best for that.

the batts dont tend to last to long but only a few quid for a new 1

That wasn't easy - I've never edited a clip before! Also never uploaded anything to youtube either...
The first freeze frame was to show the distance limit to read a license plate. One or two frames after it was clearly readable, and tbh using the trick of rolling back and forward on the frames I could make it out.
Wind noise is a real pain most of the time.
I didn't mention earlier, but the "package" I got with the glasses was exceptionally good. A solid carry case, velour interior with cleaning cloth, charging cable, cloth bag for storing inside the case, head strap for keeping them on, and a couple of pockets for SD cards (although it takes micro sd...). Also an SD to micro SD converter USB stick.
Just a shame about the no looping, and that model doesn't see to be on sale any more!

Thanks ocb, I appreciate the effort !!

I will deff get a pair of these style. I think the frame rate is key and I prefer a wide angle lens

But thanks, very handy
