Hi
I have a 2nd hand Cyclamatic power Plus and am getting around 12 miles out of the battery, I guess the battery is dying. Could anyone recommend a decent replacement?
Many Thanks
Steve

Several people replaced the 24v battery with a 36v one, that gives more power and speed.

There's also options to get more range:

How are your DIY skills? Are you OK with soldering and wiring?

There's so many options: more power, more range, more speed, better pedal assistance, better handling.

If you want to just get going again as cheaply as possible, look through these to find a cell-pack that fits in your case. Some of these batteries are a direct replacement:

Brilliant, thanks.
I think a new 36v battery and solder shunt will be the order of the day and give me what is needed.
Steve.
Be conservative with the shunt mod. The original controller is tiny and enclosed in the compartment at the bottom of the bike, so shedding heat could be an issue.

Saying that, the original motor responds well to sensorless controllers, so if the controller or hall sensors blow, you have the option of replacing with a cheap sensorless controller.
