Crane (Aldi) sports glasses

Aaaagh! bought a pair of these today, and the lenses DO NOT interchange, as claimed. Bought them away from my home base, as well. Will have to try and see if my Aldi nearer home will exchange or reimburse.

Are you chaps absolutely sure the lenses can't be changed? The reason I ask is that I bought the Lidl variety of similar glasses some time ago and I didn't find the lens-changing technique very easy to fathom initially. Eventually, after reading and re-reading the instructions, I managed it but it's not the most intuitive process.

If they are like mine you gently lift at the nose bridge and pull that side of the lens down,and the bit nearest the ear pulls out.

to put back in you push the lens in the slot earside,and push the lens up so it clicks in on the nose bridge....hope that helps. They do get easier with use.

That sounds pretty much like the same instructions for the "Crevitt"? specs I bought from Lidl which, I'm bound to say, are superb. Over the years I have paid loads for good quality sunglasses and not all turned out to be good. Oakleys, Ray-Bans, Serengetti and Randolphs, (US Airforce issue) are all pretty good but too expensive to lose. At least, I won't be upset if I lose my Lidl glasses.

they seem to do the job ok,keep flies and dust out of your eyes and clear,yellow & dark lenses. Cost me £4...excellent value and like you say it doesn't really matter if you break or lose them.

Thanks, Carpetbagger. I was not pulling hard enough on them, too fearful of breaking the flimsy-looking plastic. Had to lose my temper with them in order to get a good hard tug on the lenses. Phew.
