Hi everyone, quick question for any Zipper Z6 owners.
Bought a dead Z6, basically the controller was in pieces and it seems a couple of people “had a go” at fixing it to no avail, step in best job Dave,
Found the main problem with no power, got that sorted,
managed to, I believe, get the settings correct (still not certain of the ratio for the motor),
Now, on the workshop stand as soon as I turn the pedals the motor kicks in and seems to be at full speed?
It has what looks to be a new PAS and magnet ring, BUT, when I got the bag of bits there was a new sensor bracket, no sensor, just the bracket/holder and I’m wondering if it’s been replaced with the wrong amount of magnets, currently it has a 10 magnet ring on the bottom bracket but I’m not certain that’s correct, if someone could enlighten me it would be massively appreciated, and if anyone’s also certain of the ratio for the motor that would be a great help too, can’t find any proper workshop info on the Zipper at all really, just loads of sites trying to sell complete new ones,
many thanks for looking
Dave
