Hi all,

I have received a 24v Brainpower controller which does not have an LCD. Do I connect the green learning wire along with the halls and phase wires on first connection? Do I need to use throttle or will it turn the wheel automatically?

Please could someone walk me through the steps.

Thanks

Connect the learning wires; lift the wheel off the ground; switch on; wait for the wheel to start turning slowly; switch off; disconnect the learning wires; switch on and ride your bike.

If the wheel goes backwards or whirrs without moving, repeat the procedure. Ech time you do it, the motor reverses direction.

You don't need a throttle.

Without an LCD, the ignition switch (lock) wires must be connected.

I switched on with the learning wire and the wheel turned slowly for a few seconds, so I switched off and disconnected the learning wire. I tried applying the throttle but nothing happended.
