July 21, 20214 yr Hello. I have this type of controller and don.t know wich wire is the speed signal wire. Bike stalls at 25. Tried that white wire in the picture but it.s not. Soldered it back and now i have no other idea. Anyone, please, any idea?
July 21, 20214 yr What Chinese bike? There are thousands of different Chinese e-bikes! Many use generic displays/controllers, some OEM. Sometimes, it's simply a case of changing parameters on the display panel. State/show your specific bike and the display. If it's do-able, someone here will likely know.
July 21, 20214 yr Author It is an Allocacoc bike, with no display, just a throttle, a cadence sensor and a on/off button located on the battery pack.

July 21, 20214 yr It's a KT controller. The white wire is where it gets the speed signal from. It should be connected to the motor, which should have a speed sensor inside it. If there's no speed sensor in the motor, then you should use an external wheel magnet type. The spee limit is set in the software, and in most cases can be adjusted by through an LCD. Without a speed sensor, it will get the speed signal from the motor anyway, so disconnecting the white wire won't work. You need an LCD if you want to change something. Any of the KT ones should work: LCD1, LCD3, LCD4, LCD5, LCD8, etc.
