that seems pretty doable - i'm mechanically adapt to internal routing, as ive already switched all the gearing to DI2...You will need to unplug the Purion from the motor and pull the wire out through the frame. The intuvia base unit will then need to be rethreaded down to the motor and plugged in,. I have done this and found the threading a bit tricky.
Do you have the Nyon Display? I changed to purion from intuvia, and then back again so I could use Cobi and already had both parts of the intuvia display. next job is fitting carbon mtb forks and then look at doing the display...........might even convert it to drops too, so a more road based machine
like a monster cross ebike![]()
not yet, but looking to purchase one in the very near future.........its going on the xmas pressie list from my MrsDo you have the Nyon Display? Cant just remember.. I have 2 bikes and had them both in bits for one reason or another. I think I followed a youtube vid for it! If it was purchased with Purion you may need an update for it to work.not yet, but looking to purchase one in the very near future.........its going on the xmas pressie list from my Mrs
did you slacken off the motor bolts first to give more room betwen motor and frame? and then slacked the bolts off on the battery holder under the downtube?
For Cobi he will still need to buy/acquire the Intuvia/Nyon dock for it to fit in, and Cobi isnt without its own issues. If waiting til Xmas perhaps the Kiox might be considered.Worth considering if you really want Nyon.
It had a terrible reputation for being buggy and generally not working, certainly in the UK.
COBI might be better.

will let you know which way i goIf Cobi is on your list, I have been using one for 9 months now and is my prefered display of the three I have, Purion, Intuvia and Cobi, I can offer a few insights if needed.
Would it be possible to attach a bit of old wire to the cable coming from the original display unit. Then use this old wire as a draw wire to help thread the new cable from the new display unit down the downtube? The tricky part was threading the wire down the downtube
I taped some stiff wire to the purion when i pulled it out and then used it to pull the new one down but the plug was an only just fit through the gap and kept getting stuck.Would it be possible to attach a bit of old wire to the cable coming from the original display unit.
