Chain for a crank drive

Anyone advise or share experience of a hard wearing, slick & reasonably priced chain for a crank drive with 8 speed cassette fitted.
I've heard good things about KMC which seem well priced on CRC.

I would recommend kmc chains as I find them more reliable I use the x10e

I don't recommend the cheap bulk pack KMC chains (6-7 speed) I have moved to Wippermann which I find much better for a good price.

The x10e is crank drive specific and not cheap lol did almost 2000 miles on my first one
