For those that carry a spare Bosch battery, or would like to, I was sorting through the shed yesterday and came across a few army surplus German/Belgian gas mask bags.
It turns out that these things are the perfect size, and with two internal pockets and space above, there is still ample room for cycle tools, pump, tube, etc. It seems quite a practical and simple storage solution, and also seems to sit quite comfortably on the shoulder.
I haven't looked this time around, but there was loads of these things on Ebay a while back. By memory I paid a fiver a time including the gas masks. It worked out cheaper to buy the bags that way, than without. Weird.
