Hi, I own a Carrera Vulcan ebike 2018.
I have charged the battery but the display won't switch on?
First time this has happened.
No obvious reason why as it worked fine in the week?
Has anyone experienced this issue and I would welcome any help or advice to resolve the problem.

If everything is dead, first check the fuse in the battery and the contacts with the dock are clean. Then use a voltmeter to ensure the fully-charged battery voltage is 41-42 volts.

The display works independently from the other parts. All it needs is a connection to the battery to switch on. Therefore, it's not connected. You have to find out why. The battery wires go into the controller and there is a direct branch off them inside the controller for the display, so the controller probably isn't getting power either. The problem is that there are comms between the battery and controller. If they don't agree, the battery won't give power. Hopefully, it's just a normal connection fault. Look for that first. You should be able to measure something on the battery (14v IIRC) unless there's a blown fuse or other problem in it.
