Carrera Vengeance E bike - Weird Noise at 15mph only??

Hi,

I'm after some help if any ideas..
I have a second hand E bike, although it's in as new condition.
I also have a full set of spare electrics & battery from a friend who converted his.

When i ride it is absolutely fine up until 15mph then a weird noise like a limiter on and off.
Has anyone every come across this before?
Once i manually push over 15mph or go below it, the sound is gone.

It doesn't sound normal.

I have tried changing the controller, battery, small display. guess the rear wheel motor is next?
It sounds like it's coming from beneath my seat rather than the rear wheel but i could well be wrong.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you manage to sort the problem? My other half has a subway e and has exactly the same issue it's the 4th time out on it so a little frustrating.

i have the same issue would really love to know the issue at first i was thinking it was my brake disk
