Was cycling along in the rain last night, after about 200 metres, the battery just cut out, though all the blue lights continued flashing. No error message on the panel, completely stopped working. Disconnected battery and tried recharging but no change.

Appreciate any advice please.

Possibly water in the controller or display.
Or maybe in the throttle if you've got one, though I don't think that would have that effect.

Most likely cause of loss of power is moisture, the 5v line is quite crucial as it provides the power to all Hall sensors. This 5v is sensitive to moisture so can occur anywhere a peripheral item is used, once any 5v is affected by moisture it corrupts the whole 5v rail/line so isn't necessarily the controller. It can be PAS, throttle or even the display, all are directly prone to moisture issues.
