caravan rack

can anyone recommend a stand/rack for two bikes - for inside a caravan ?

At the moment when we go on holiday with our bikes we have to pack them out with duvets in bags and the awning bag to prevent them banging about when the van is being towed...

Any suggestions please ?

( its only a two berth with no fixed bed )

I'm not sure what you mean Stumpy. Is it that you want to house the bikes inside the caravan at times or is it a method of supporting the bikes in transit you're after?

As you obviously have a towbar, the latter of the aforementioned is achievable utilising the towbar and a specialised carrier designed for that purpose; the purpose being that it still allows towing.

Nose weight comes into play though so with a couple of EAPCs, it could easily get into an illegal situation and is potentially dangerous. Roof mounting on the car is possible as some carriers permit 20 kg but the overall weight of two bikes might be more than the roof bar maker's recommended limit.

Other than that, buy a motorhome with a big garage.

its for transporting the bikes in the caravan while en route to holiday destinations

We have a Thule Velo compact for transporting the bikes while we are on holiday - if we want to venture further afield for example. The design of my car makes it impossible to fit a rack on the towbar while the van is hitched up and I don't want to start cutting parts of the caravan a frame apart to fit a Fiamma type a frame rack

Have been told about a carabike rack but seems the company is no longer trading.
