Hi, I am finding it impossible to setup the VCLD-5 display for my third Tong Sheng installation on my hard-tail MTB.
I hold the info and power buttons for 3 seconds as per instructions in the manual under 5.4 Hidden Functions, however the moment I release them (or more particularly the power button) the unit switches off - there is no time to hit the info button again. I have two other bikes with Tong Sheng kits where this process works as expected, but with this third unit it just does not work.
The other two bikes are a road bike and a gravel/touring bike - both with TSDZ2 units. This latest is a TSDZ2B - does this make a difference?
I tried connecting the unit to one of the other bikes, but no luck (I rather hoped the setup would work, then I could re-install the display back on the MTB).
The MTB installation works OK, just stuck with whatever the defaults are.
Any suggestions - e.g. some alternative for running the setup process. If not I'll return the display and get it replaced.
