Never tried a TB I was always put off by the price !
I read mixed comparison reviews between the crane creak & the suntour nex seat post. The ST seamed to have the edge for performance and being better priced (£40) was the cherry on top.

Anywho,
Since buying a suntour nex suspension seat post I've not looked back, it's been on three different bikes and it's now on my cube 29er.
As with all quality posts, make sure you look at the recommended rider weight and buy the appropriate weight
Also consider how much more you weigh fully kitted out rucksack & all

An under sized post can be shimmed to fit your bike, an oversized one is just an expensive doorstop.

Funny thing is most reviews from youtube do mention using it for electric bike.

I don't know of a local stockist, let-alone one who would lend one out just to satisfy my curiosity.
Not that I'm curious, I'm happy with my suntour and can't think how it could be improved on, if for any reason it needed replacing I'd buy another one just the same.

Sure the model on the site is an ST? Is an ST not more oval?

Edit: OK it is the Short Travel, not the LT or long travel. The LT is more oval.

What an excellent piece of kit, really makes a difference to my hardtail BH Neo. I fitted a cheapy Lidl gel saddle at the same time and I'm really loving it.

I've had a Suntour ncx for about 7 months now & recently thought it's not absorbing the bumps like it did...

Finally realised I hadn't adjusted for losing half a stone in that time & it's now boinging away proper.

Getting the preload right is quite finnicky.
