Can you get anything decent on the bike to work scheme

Evening all my lad has been offered the bike to work scheme i think he’s been offered £1500 I may be wrong is there anything out there he could purchase from a bike to work scheme shop for this money he’s after a mtb style bike but also looking to find something he can derestrict

they can all be derestricted but as for a mid drive mtb you would need to add 1k to the budget

Probably not the style of bike your son is looking for, but great value at £41 the right side of £1,500 with a large 17ah battery, sold by woosh bikes who have a good reputation and I think accommodate ride to work schemes, the Gran-Camino has been designed to be able to be used off road. Worth a look.
