Can you change the rim on a Mahle X20/X35?

Hi, new here already own a eMTB but considering a road bike with a Mahle X20 hub drive. Most of the wheels they are built on are not the best quality so wondered if anyone knows a wheel builder that can build an alternative rim on to it? I note Ribble use a Mavic cosmic 45SL so either they do it themselves or Mavic build it.TIA

If you tell people where you are based then people might be able to recommend somebody. If you are in Scotland then I would recommend Wheelcraft in Glen of Campsite, they built a front hub motor (I supplied the motor) wheel for me.
