March 29, 201313 yr I know this may sound a bit petty, but can we try and stick to answering the title subject, rather than go off on a tangent and waffle on about things unrelated. I've noticed this happening on a few threads. I'll bookmark an interesting thread with the intention of following it. Then get all excited on seeing another post on that thread only to see that it's gone way off subject.... Boo Hoo Anyone else get narked at this or is it just me turning into Alf Garnett?
March 29, 201313 yr is it just me turning into Alf Garnett? Yes. And as this thread is now on the subject of actors, did you see that Richard Griffiths has just died? . Edited March 29, 201313 yr by flecc

March 29, 201313 yr I don't understand string theory, can any one explain ? Yes, it explains that anything we can't access to measure will be the length of a piece of string, as per this equation: L = S(X - 42) Where L is the length, S is the string, X is the unknown location of the object that cannot be accessed and 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything.
March 29, 201313 yr Boris Johnson locked in a dark room with an Aardvark..ok..that's the chaos theory explained, next subject please.

March 29, 201313 yr The answer to how long is a piece of string is 'Twice the distance from the centre to either end'

March 29, 201313 yr Thread drift. I'm surprised he made it to 65, to be honest. The size of him, his heart stood no chance.
March 29, 201313 yr Indeed Dave, in the later stages Richard Griffiths was ridiculously obese, he must have received many warnings but obviously chose to ignore them.
March 29, 201313 yr He was a good actor though, and will be missed. You only live once, life is short, so I'm all in favour of enjoying life whilst you are able......you never know what is around the corner.

March 30, 201313 yr Is there any truth that Wagon Wheels are now smaller than you remember.........discuss All the chocolate bar type products have shrunk repeatedly over the years, another way of putting up the price. And it's not just them, in supermarkets the blocks of fruitcake etc have shrunk on every dimension so many times that a block now is not very much larger than a slice cut from one used to be. Looking on the bright side though, perhaps a good thing. Think how bad the obesity epidemic would be if those products were still as large as they once were.
