Well today some idiot decided to run out in front of me! , he was in the wrong not me!, he should of looked where he was going!. So I hit him and he's ok I had sprained arm and came out fine luckily!. Anyway turns out it buckled slightly my front wheel that has the motor on it:( .

What can I do about it?, I can't get a new rim as the motor looks like it can only be used with that rim, can I unbuckle it?, can a shop do it?.

Any help guys?.

Cheers.

Hi Ellis, sorry to hear of your misfortune.

I don't know what bike you've got, but the rims are standard items and a competent bike shop can fit a new one.

Some don't like touching electrics though, and motor hubs don't sit easily in wheel building stands. If you can't locate a local dealer who will do it, check for the dealers for Powabyke or Powacycle in your area. Those bikes are hub motor, the Powabyke's in the front wheel, so the dealers should be more familiar with what's needed.

Powacycle contact page to ask for a local dealer.

Hi Ellis, If you tell me where abouts in the country you are and what type of bike you have, I will see who I have in your area that have a look at your wheel for you.
