Hi, does anyone have any experience stripping / servicing this type of motor? While it works fine, it's developed a rattle that I imagine comes from the clutch and I'm seeking advice re opening it up and seeing if I can simply add some lubricant...IMG_2095.JPG

It's an Outrider Tongxin clone. I heard that Outrider took over Tongxin production. If they're identical, you'd be better off replacing it with a Q75/Aikema 75. Tongxins were never very robust or reliable and could only handle very low power, and they were sensorless.

Other side, as requested...IMG_2098.JPG Motor is working fine, exactly as it always has, except for a rattle when not under power.

Not opened one of these before but looks like you need a torx head screwdriver or drill bit to undo those 6 torx screws in pic one, not sure where the face plate lifts off from but maybe from the spoke flange.

Might be worth looking on u- tube to see if that particular model is shown.
