You must have very good eyes. It is as much as I can do to see something. :)

That must make it difficult to follow (sub-)threads properly.
I've got one good eye - the other CSR blighted one streams when I consume sugar. I shouldn't have eaten that eclair.

Does that mean we can elect OG as PM and Flecc as his deputy..??? We might get some improvements.. I, m sure we could persuade Danidl to play Cummings role..
Now where did I put that Che Guevara dress up kit, must be here somewhere..
Quite like the idea of having a "popular front"

Comeback King is getting an early Christmas present? Whilst his emergency meeting is still fresh in our minds perhaps??
But nobody mentions 2 weeks ago Booster campaign had stalled and Boris' 1 million jabs a day moonshot simply can't have had eniugh time to affect numbers infected, but I doubt a small issue like reality and truth will be part of this scheme.
Come new year Express /Mail will be trumpeting how Boris saved us all.
And, perhaps unwittingly, the Labour rags have played their part. Scaring us to death with severity of Omicron.
But early days, still time for Armegeddon..

No more for me and that is final until the pharma companies come up with something very much better, i.e. more effective at preventing infection and that for at least a year.
Israel well on the way to providing a fourth jab, the pharma companies must be thinking CV is the gift that keeps on giving. So far the West has followed behind Israel by two or three months, so we might expect our super booster (I'm sure Boris will come up with a better name) some time around March/April time.

Pharma comps used to pay students to be guinea pigs, I think they still do. I knew one. He always had a headache.

The latest 7 Day isolation stunt is designed to pass the blame with the public if they take advantage of it.
Hence this rider
As reported by the bbc.
“And people ending isolation on day seven are strongly advised to limit contact with vulnerable people, not visit crowded or poorly ventilated spaces, and work from home”
So Christmas shopping etc., is a no-no?
I wonder how many people bothered to read or will even take that advice?

It just heaps pressure on employee to return to work too early. All psychopath mill owners will love this.

I see Baroness Cunty McCuntwhistle has complained that the fuzz failed to break up Downing Street parties last year. Dame Dick has reported herself to hindsight squad. They are currently at Screwfix buying up all the whitewash in stock.

Latest visit to the supermarket showed why we aren't likely to stem Omicron infections. Two of the best preventative measures have been masking and asking people to shop alone, not bringing family or others with them, but both seem to be breaking down now.

Despite the store having a large entry notice saying you must mask to use this store, just ahead of me was a family of the two parents and two sons circa 8 and 10 years, none of them masked but not challenged by the staff member on the door.

Obviously that hugely multiplied the transmission risks, the shopping being done by four unmasked persons instead of one masked person.

Six!

UK Covid live: Wales to introduce rule of six for hospitality from Boxing Day
Yes, you can only enter a boozer with a maximum of five other people. It doesn’t matter if there is a 1000 people in the pub, the important thing is to only go in with a maximum of 5 others.:D

If, unbeknown to you, a couple of mates are already in the pub, would that count as a group of 8? Would you be ok if you ignored them? Would saying hello be an offence.

I think what I’m saying is the rule is a big pile of steaming horse ****.

Yesterday I saw a chap (of similar age to me) wearing an impressive "plague doctor" mask while shopping. And by far the majority are masking up properly. (It could even be that all those not wearing them truly are exempted - there are few enough for that to be feasible, though I have my doubts.)

I'm distinctly inclined to think that a lot of people have done much of their shopping already. The weekend just gone was busier than I'd have expected. But yesterday was significantly quieter.

I wonder if that family have had a Covid vaccination? The Bill Gate’s magnetic vaccine, which makes you Bluetooth enabled so he can control your mind.
